
Pianist
South Korean pianist Saeyoon Chon won First Prize at the 2018 Dublin International Piano Competition and has earned top prizes at the Maria Canals, Itrubi, Young Concert Artists, Vendôme, Seoul, and Hilton Head competitions. He has performed solo recitals at Carnegie Hall, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Seoul Arts Center, and the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
An active chamber musician, Chon appears regularly at Verbier, Ravinia, Four Seasons, and Rockport festivals, collaborating with artists such as Midori and the Calidore String Quartet. He has performed with leading orchestras including The Cleveland Orchestra and the RTÉ National Symphony. A graduate of The Juilliard School, he is currently a DMA candidate and faculty member in Piano Studies at NYU Steinhardt, and also teaches at the Brooklyn College Preparatory Center.
